Dinky 582 / 982 Pullmore Transporter

Model #1 (trailer only)

As Bought:

This wreck was bought with the intension of restoring it but, unfortunately, it turned out to be worse than I expected. All the mudguard/linkage section underneath is shattered. Unless I can get a replacemrnt I don't think there is much I can do with it - unless somebody knows different? Anybody have a wreck with the linkage on?

Restoration:

As the trailer was in such a bad state I decided to use just the base section as a 'code 3' project.I was lucky enough to obtain a cab with a linkage already on it.
Together they make a nice little Recovery trailer which I decided to make into a 'Police' livery.

Model #2

As Bought:

Thankfully this purchase turned out a bit better buy.
This was another one I bought to restore but it was in better condition than I expected so might leave it as it is.

 

Model #2a (cab only)

As Bought:

I was lucky enough to come across this cab unit that had previously been restored still with the trailer attachment.

Model #3

As Bought:

Very badly chipped and faded. The tailgate is missing as are most of the tyres.

Restoration:

Repainted as a 'code 3' Dinky delivery transporter.

 

Model #4

As Bought:

Few chips.

Restoration:

Fully restored and with approriate cars and ramp added, it has been turned into the 980 Pullmore set.

 

Model #5

As Bought:

Good condition.

Restoration: None yet.

 

Model #6

As Bought:

paint chipped but complete .

Restoration:

Restored to to 2 colour version

 

Model #7

As Bought:

Missing top deck .

Restoration:

Restored in a code 3 livery of BMC. The top deck was from model #1. 4 mini coopers were also done as a load for this model. This is it loaded up.

As Bought:

Awaiting delivery .
